Our Vision
A school where every child learns with confidence, thinks for themselves, and is ready for whatever comes next.
Who We Are

Maia Academy was established in 2077 B.S. (2021 A.D.) in Lalitpur, Nepal. We started small - Nursery through Grade 5 - and have grown each year. Today we run classes up to Grade 8, with plans to add secondary levels.
What makes us different? Small class sizes. Our teachers know every student personally. We teach in both English and Nepali, use digital tools alongside textbooks, and make sure students understand concepts rather than just memorising for exams.
Beyond the classroom, students take part in sports, music, art, dance, karate, and community projects. We believe a well-rounded school experience matters as much as good grades.
Vision & Mission
A school where every child learns with confidence, thinks for themselves, and is ready for whatever comes next.
We give students a strong foundation in core subjects, teach them to think critically, and help them grow into responsible, capable people - not just good test-takers.
Our Foundation
Twelve principles that guide every decision, every classroom, and every student at Maia Academy.
These values are woven into our curriculum, daily routines, and community life.

Message from the Principal
"Every child who walks through our gates has potential - our job is to help them find it. At Maia, we keep classes small, our teachers know every student, and we focus on both strong academics and building good character. We are not the biggest school in Lalitpur, but we care deeply about getting it right for each child."
Learning Environment
We use a mix of traditional teaching and modern tools - digital classrooms, science kits, and project-based work. Students also take part in sports, arts, music and other activities that keep school life interesting.
